Eyes closed tight, concentration riddled.
Darkness surrounds, defined with light.
Bright radon glow breaches thin pink flesh
As voices hushed, wash through warm breast.

Frozen alive for hours upon days,
Feign pattern-recognition worked overtime.
Twice a boot came and made her twitch,
But sweat covers numbness ever fine.

"Free to explore, freedom from rules!"
Moths flock, laughing in hypnotic mist
Now tethered in darkness, hearts leap with joy
As their bodies lie still, all movement sift.

Bright in tunnels, light of day blinds,
Mixing with emotions that tease and sate.
Irrational justice for those who tempt not;
Sealed inside plastic, their pysche's fate.

Sublime imitation, wrapped with pixel haunt
Like her fingertips, playing some neuron buzz,
But blue mist pulses pretty at Sappho's pool;
Perfect algorithms for the perfect fool.
