~ Somber hues
and brilliant ways.
A love of life and all her nays
Did I listen?
Did they make a difference?

the boat returned
the blues moved me hither,

Who looked high and low?
the reds and golds,strewn on the path,
The flowers of marigold and Champa,
Heady intoxicants.
Take Me away to that hidden Shangri-La
Where Time stands still and I will not be ancient
Nay young as a febrile staff
and she a gazelle,
a faun running wild
Will the High mountains keep her in ~ Or is My Love enough
Did she ever lose My invisible bands I set on her heart?
So long ago and so far away,
The colors coalesce and pool into One,
