Too much:
was that the cry Twist made
when the calf weaned , did the cow say  too much
when the sow bred, did the boar say too much
when the chocolatier made fudge for the kids ,
did any say Too much
and when her One kept on and on
deep into the blazing night dark
None heard her cry "Too much"
     and yet and Yet
It can be Sometimes

azure blue seas and green frond palms
white sands and the polyps on teh shore
She cried out as He tore the tissues
then quietened as He soothed her brow
Soft waves lapping at her flesh
waves? ~ those were the lines of crawlies
                                                          invasive and pervasive
His own come to inhabit
                                          and They did
