anything's possible
in the grey miasma
inside my mind
where I walk

You go there too

You're there almost

In the pale grey

Why can't I catch you?
You're always almost

You waft away

Clutching at shadows
Clinging to haze

Besotted fingers
Which need not touch you

Why not walk with me for a spell?

Smiling
At my doorstep

Dare I take this treasured gift

into the murk
from whence it came?
