In the distance,
Light of every color.
Inviting warmth of
Loves embracing arms.

Far from the light,
Away from the warmth.
Resting in the shadows.
In the darkness so cold.

Coldness has become,
A constant normal.
Numb and unfeeling,
Alone in the dark.

Looking to the distance,
Watching the colors.
Though planted,
Firmly in deaths cold arms.

Only time bides the time,
As the cold sets in.
Leaving behind,
The living dead.

~~

Loss of love leaves such cold unfeeling behind, mere shells of humanity, awaiting and hoping for warmth's return.

Mood Shadows!

The mood colors are determined by those who are loved and those unloved. The loved have moods of many colors ~ the unloved far from the light dejectedly waits.
