Alone in the dark of night,
Silent and still be the heart.
None to see the turmoil,
Running furious inside.

Silent as it goes,
The fears that grow.
Building with no trace,
Backfire waiting its release.

Twice the heart loved,
Twice the heart lost.
Thrice to give once more,
Love a chance in the dark.

With trust and faith,
Love will guide the way.
To the small glimmer,
At the end of the tunnel.

~~

And each love that presents itself is unlike any other; it's like a new adventure unfolding or a new life.

love's gamble...

Through the maelstrom of love's dangerous mysterious caves ~ look ever toward that small glimmer ~ hope's light.
