The heart wants,
What the heart wants.
Though mind says no,
It says yes.

Back and forth,
Round and round.
Confusion sets in,
With a tug of fate.

Do you take a chance,
Risk another break.
Your mind,
Gets in the way.

The heart beats on,
Pulling more and more.
Taking that risk,
Just for another chance.

Perhaps this is the one,
With no more pain.
No more breaks,
Only time will tell.

The heart wants,
What the heart wants.
Given a chance,
And taking time.

Following the heart could leave you in wretched pain but ignoring it could also leave you with a sterile existence; tough choices. Just remember that you could also strike it rich with that special one that your heart says is The One.

What the heart wants...

Heart over mind ~ should one only trust their heart or allow the mind's reasoning to prevail. What direction will fate tug them in the stuggle.
