There is loneliness at night. Death
creeps close again, a reminder
that nothing here is new, nothing reborn
on this side where hell reigns
and flames burn the soles
of your feet as you run, escaping
the talons of moonless nights
and the nightmares that threaten
to eat you alive, one memory
at a time.

We are here for you scattered over many countries but joined too in the poetry of those lost but never forgotten.

Loss is hard

Sometimes it causes nightmares as your text precisely describes. There is nothing to say but to keep writing. Our poet friends who we've lost would want that for us most of all, I believe. :)

Very intense,

as you conjure up gruesome and horrifying images. Well done.
