Click hereThere's been a few good commedians,
I've seen and heard in my life time.
They've come in singles, pairs and threesomes,
And every one of them's been prime!
I remember best the "Three Stooges,"
They were Larry, Moe and Curley.
And another one, a substitute,
He was Joe, and he was squirrely!
A pair of "Big Screen" comics were,
Bud Abbot and Lou Costello.
And Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis,
A pair that everybody knows!
Benny Hill could do a pantomime,
That could make tears of laughter flow.
No one will forget Nipsy Russell,
And Bill Cosby could steal the show!
There was Jackie Gleason and his pals,
That played on "The Honeymooners."
Jack Benny was a real funny man,
And old Bob Hope was a crooner!
There were comics on the radio
Like Fibber MaGee and Molly.
The BEST show was "Amos and Andy,"
THEY could make old Scrooge feel jolly!
There's a lot more GOOD commedians,
That I haven't even mentioned.
There's MORE than the ones I've pointed out,
And no disrespect's intentioned!!
And lest we forget ~ there was the King of the one liners -Henny Youngman, "Take my wife ~ please!" Those were the days!
is the punchline?
"They were Larry, Moe and Curley."
never mind, just the mention
I laughed anyway
