I could write
A thousand love poems
That would never be enough
To tell of what you mean to me.

You inspire me
You make me believe
In love that's real
In love that sets us free.

With you I can be myself
You don't judge me
You never criticize
You just allow me to be.

You're always bringing me up
You don't bring me down
You tell me the truth
You give it to me straight.

In you I've found a great friendship
One to be treasured and adored
Something that doesn't come along often
Maybe only once in a lifetime.

I can share anything with you
Without fear, without shame
In the end I know you'll be
Still standing there beside me.
