~ Absolution ~

Truth be told
I never sought a path
Among angels
Instead holding hands
With the devil in my soul
How then could I
Search the sky for absolution
When the wrath of fate
Finally took its toll
Still I've never pretended
To be what I could never be
Why the hell
Should I ask forgiveness now...
