He walks out
                                           on the balustrade
High above the teeming
                                           life below.

she catches her breath,
Her life in her throat.
watches Him
                                           and then joins Him.

in the early morning
bathed in the light
their Love
as the sky tinges
                                           from blood red
                                                                       to just pink
and then
                                           azure blue.
Does it really
                                           cover the world?
Astral projections
amidst the heavens.
fires burning
                                           nurturing the birth of stars.

Is their’s not a Creation
                                           and Lifting them,
will their passion bathe
                                           all in their
                                                                       crimson stains?
