Standing in a damp, unlit field
back to the road
I fire you up:
tonight, it's special
just feels right, cool    ya know

Guess I was reeling from the alienage
just forgot the sociality of it all,
not that there's anything "sacred" about you:
just mota, weed, bread
but then potatoes are sacred
when they're what sustains you, ya know

And you hit right away on cue
just what I needed just now:
the world turns bizzare and inspired
my grizzled confidence is restored

my life is one spaced-out launch toward...

immortality
