She is Spring,
Full of youthful singing.

He is Autumn,
With a tune rich in colour.

They meet in summer,
Belly to tanned belly,
All hot and sweaty,
And then all to soon,
University resumes.

She is in the light of life,
Though shades of green it maybe,
Bubbling with endless energy,
With only the strife of higher erudition,
Fully paid is the tuition,
Some would say "she has it made."

He faces the shadow of death,
Winter will soon be upon him,
He has collected his tuition of higher erudition,
And some say "he has it made,"
They forget what price he has paid.

She steps through May,
He turns his back on November,
She meets him in summer days,
Belly to tanned belly they play.

Hand in hand they walk the beach of summer,
The sand does not care about their age,
They find comfort and deep passions,
Spring and Autumn on summer days.

She is Spring with intellectual reason,
He is Autumn and well seasoned,
August came too soon,
In his arms she swoons,

"A man your age shouldn't be built such as you are,
It isn't fair to a girl that lacks seasons,
Just don't die on me while I'm gone,
For winter break I have a song that needs to be sung."

He steps through November,
She turns her back on May,
They meet in winter,
Full of summer days.

The poem is clinical, filled with statements,. There is very little for the imagination to grab hold of. I see a person making observations and they are not coming out very poetic. You can and have done so much better. This is a sad disappointment.
