Baby I'm With You

Each footprint leaves an impression
every year they get wider and deeper.
My casts are becoming shorter
as the cooler gets heavier,
my sorry life has only one constant.

My beauty in the blazer
still out shines the sun,
that is why it never rains
and the waves are always warm.

     If she loved the mountains
I leave this beach of wonder.
Trading long necks for hot toddies,
romantic sunsets for raging fires.
Taking only my shades....
to hide my tears of joy.
