Hey Mister, got a nickel?
Visions exploded,
left behind
in a world gone crazy,
in a life gone blind.
Cast away, adrift
in the crush of humanity,
a lack of sanity
pervades the day.
Nothing else to say
except to be on their way,
alone in this world,
from their past hurled
into a future gone nowhere.
No one to care,
no one to share.
And so they go on alone
no where at home.
Hey Mister, got a nickel?
