Toes and little bows
fancy and pretty things
Once I looked at them
and all was right with the world

then I grew older so did the toes
elegant slip-on heeled sandals
tight cover-ups
ballet shoes
and lithe women lifting
on their toes

Maybe those Irish tap dancers
will stay the course
but
then they may not

small little pinkies
dainty flowers
the bees hovers around
and lands

As I lie on My side
in the warm basking sun
watching
the bee buzz around
that turgid protuberance
crinkled flesh and sweet
with the scent of the nectar
just fed
that gurgling baby
and the limpid pools

Make Them all remain forever
That shall be Me

and then I am.
