Where did you come from?
You weren’t here an hour ago.
You were there this morning,
but I chased you away.

Why did you return?
You left so quickly.
The smiles and laughter
had filled my day.

Why show yourself now?
No one is here to help me.
No one can lead you away.
You’re stuck with me.

I don't like you!
Depression. . .
Just go away.

Depression

The blues can strike like lightening ~ but unlike lightening it takes longer to go away.

A lighter look

At feeling depressed

And dealing with it ~

Just go away!

Depression = Blues

DC:

As I read this poem an old Blues Tune flashed in my mind like a lightening bolt. "Blues Stay Away From Me." I never in my life admitted to depression, but I damn well know what the blues are. Depression is a bad case of the blues by another name. Thank You. Ronnie W.
