The best news caster was Roger Mudd.
He was much better than was old Dan,
But Dan Rather had the bigger "can!"
Roger looked like a prune, but he'd work,
While Dan Rather wore his silly smirk.
It was a case of "Polli-tickin',"
Roger Mudd never, took a "lickin'!"
Now old Dan Rather, has gone away,
His "I know it all" smirk's gone today!
But there's still a mystery here Bud,
Whatever happened to Roger Mudd??
