Tell me mirror on the wall,
was it wise to tell him all?
He said that I could lean on him,
but now he's left, my light is dim.

He'd known my sunnier disposition;
he said my dark side was no imposition,
cautioned never to do things against my will,
he'd promised to journey with me up that hill.

So why is my name in the gossip pages?
Why do I now feature on all life's stages?
Must opening up have such consequences?
And result in me now mending fences?

I'm loving it but this line is driving me crazy...

Why do I now feature on all life's stages? ...(disclaimer) take this line, forget rhyme, say what you mean, believe it might set up the last two lines.*****
