Lots of folks think that being blind,
Has got to be the worse thing!
That can happen to anyone,
A life's that lost everything!

But these folks just can't realize,
There's more things on this old Earth,
That's so precious with true value,
And it has so much more worth!

Sight's just one of the five senses,
Other ones are as intense.
There's hearing, smelling, touch and taste,
Along with our "Common sense!"

To stroke a velvet softness or,
To smell a fragrance so sweet.
To taste perfection with a tongue,
Are things that just can't be beat!

To walk outside and feel the air,
From a sunny morning's breeze,
No one needs vision for these things,
And all of these things will please!

I may be blind but I don't care,
One good thing's come out of this.
There's no more ugly people now,
And my happiness is bliss!!

You might not be seeing ugly people with the eyes, but there are plenty of ugly people you can see with the heart.
