Click hereI got a lot stockpiled,
Someone's heap of an idea
Towed away
From streets I used to wander.
So I say to the wife
I got a lot:
A little shop-vac,
Lube, a coat of paint or two,
Take a shot and put one on display.
So I'm thinking that's what I'll do.
Now here come Jack
And Beth
And Jack says "I see specks,
But I don't see specs."
I don't know Jack
I say to myself,
An interesting play on words but
Beth, she likes the color,
Moonlit rides in the country,
A little air freshener perhaps,
And a blanket in the back seat.
But Jack says, "I don't see it, I mean I do,
But all those bells, whistles, and blanket
Gets in the way."
Excuse me, I mean get. Jack said get.
So I talk to the wife again,
Noticing grime in my nails
For the first time
And that's when I remember Jack,
He says to Beth, riding away
"Yeah, well, not half bad."
