I gently lay your head down
Upon the waiting pillow
Your hair spills out in curls
Tempting me to run my fingers through

You gaze upon me
Eyes so blue, watching me intently
Causing my hands to grow bolder
And they go down your neck.

You arc slightly
Bringing your neck closer to my lips
As I kiss it tentatively.
Causing a gasp to come from your lips

Yet still my hands explore
Caressing the skin
Running it down your back
You breathe faster, gasping

Lips parted
You lick them
And my lips meet yours
Tongue exploring, tasting

We part breathlessly
Wordless
Resting, waiting
Within each other’s arms.
