It something you either have or you don’t
Something everyone has to use but sometimes just won’t
A gift from a submissive to her Dom,
Once given over it can make her so calm.
Without some would go berserk,
While others when given this power become such a jerk,
You have to know how to use it to the best,
Be it how to give orders or even giving a test.
Know your limits and don’t become a fool,
Control when given of free will is the best kind of tool,
Some will give it and there will be no mishap,
Others will give it and expect a good slap.
For Me Control is the very key,
To making you belong and answer to me,
It can be the way I use my voice,
Or the way that suddenly I give you a choice.
The way that I carry myself through the day,
In charge of a situation in every way,
The way you handle your submissive’s dire need,
From the way you decide to give her your seed.
Control is power given over not demanded,
Remember that and you’ll never be empty handed.

Anonymousalmost 19 years agoi'm a submissive in a 24/7 relationship, and this is a very good poem for enlightening Dom/mes that cause them selves to lose their sub's. As a submissive i inderstand that i give control to my Master. i make that choice because i trust Him with my life. i trust in His decisions for my self as well as U/us. Alot of men and women get into this kind of lifestyle expecting to just be able to treat their submissives like dirt and have no respect for them what so ever. my Master repects me with the utmost and never pushes me beyond my limits. That is true control! When not only are You controlling Your sub but also keeping Youself in control to. i just felt the need to drop this comment because thier are not many people out their that are aware of the true idea and actions of this kind of relationship. i felt as thought You put it in perspective very well even for someone who doesn't live the life style.
