Expectations are funny things,
sometimes, loved ones desire more
sometimes they need more.

Building
expectations is
like  a child's building
blocks
Who would remove a piece
let it all tumble down
why would, should they?

Sometimes, expectations
can demand more from one,
make ones rise to the standard

Taking more     giving less,
wait, that is not how it is
or should be?

Love the ending

and the child's block image, but those last two lines made me laugh. :)
