Fate

You will constantly leave me like
The ocean licks the sand
Endless Foaming saliva of your
Dreams keeping the host
Of angels from reading the hidden
Script etched in the wake of you
Torrid nights of my earnest knowing
My eyes burn inside you peering deep
And your denial of the ship anchored
In the shallow harbor is mirrored
Brashly against the sun
I weep knowing were you are going
While the sands erode under your
Tired feet finding the way
To a fate I so clearly see
Suspended
Waiting for
The pearls lost
To come
Back to you
In the kiss of an ocean wave
