What melodies arise this morning from you.
Duplicitous objet d'art, counterfeit vous!
Take the stars from my eyes;
Turn the truths into lies;
Reveal to her tender feelings in light,
While whispers in darkness mark my plight.
Refrain from banalities, I have no care
For vacant words resonant in a hollow lair.
Naturally I knew you ludicrous twit.
Convoke your wounded egotism and get over it.

dont generally like poems,

but you have actually compelled me to read yours. Your word use remains exquisite, and the imagery of this is wonderful. Thank you.
