Icy fingers grip my shoulders
Fear courses through my veins
My breath is like fog in the air
As I deal with the overwhelming pains

I turn to look upon Death's skeletal face
It wears a haunting grin
It chills my soul and stops my heart
Death is welcomed in

Its dark eyes are like bottomless pits
In them rests the souls of the dead
It dons a long black robe upon its bones
Drenches in blood and torn in shreds

On its arms two beauties rest
Death is accompanied by Valkyries
They have their choice of the slain
As Death screams like a tormented banshee

My soul is harvested before its time
I fall into the eyes of the soul's keeper
In grief the world is reminded that Death awaits
I face the nightmarish entity- the Grim Reaper
