You fly your way
I fly mine
a Hawk soars high
while a lonely Dove coo's

Feather light touches
warm togetherness
Downey hearts
fell in love
and banded

Sat in time
like drifting wood's stillness
raced like rockets
and pecked at a clock
shareing

Flapped away dreams
to share our wings
years flew together
thru good and bad weather

dawned a day
a storm blew us apart
seperated
yet bridged
not burned
but learned

A Hawk and a Dove
fly different skies
yet perch together
for moments in time
