Heart Attack

Well my wife left town in a huff one day
And as mad as she was I knew she'd stay
So I made friends with single young mother
And soon enough one thing just led to the other

Well the sparks were flying, things got real serious
I was in hog heaven, absolutely delirious
I was having the absolute time of my life
But fooling around is a double edged knife

Cause a mom needs a husband. That's a matter of fact
So from the start of this affair the deck was stacked
One day she told me to give her what I owed
Get rid of that wife or you can hit the road

Next day I heard a loud knock on the door
When I opened it up I nearly fell on the floor
It was nearly enough to give me a heart attack
My girlfriend left me and my wife came back

I really can't complain about the condition I'm In
Because it was just payday for my wages of sin
The moral of this story I want you to know
That it's really true that you reap what you sow.

If you want a new woman, first divorce your wife
And after she's gone you can get on with your life
Cause It's enough to give a man a heart attack
If his girlfriend leaves him and his wife comes back

The first thing they tell you in affair school is he'll never leave his wife for you...but not every man fits the mold... sounds like you've got a good head a top your shoulders, good for thinking and stuff...

as Readers we really can't modify the condition we're in----

but readin' this poem made us sit'n grin

the fable should read Wages of Sin

but if one thinks with his "coq " , he really can't win !!
