HEART OF GOD

If I were alone
On a distant isle,
Within my mind
You’d bring a smile.

No oceans great distance
Could ever keep us apart,
For you’re always part of me
You’re here within my heart.

Snow covered mountains
Rising high into the blue sky,
Could cast no shadow
On the sparkle of your eye.

The joy you bring
Shines ever so bright,
For not even the sun
Sheds more light.

Yes, there’s this feeling within my heart
Of which you must be told,
In you I have an endless faith
In your heart of gold…BWL
