Her Eyes
by slyc_willie

(Poet's note: The following is my first poem to be submitted to Lit. It was requested and inspired by a particularly wonderful young woman. I know little of poetry, and I'm sure it shows.)

Her eyes
Entranced me
Dark as the clouds of the storm
Bright as the clearest sky
Mystifying
Encouraging

Passion bound
Aching for release
Seeking a vessel into which
To pour
To join
To merge

Her eyes seek
My eyes
See
