Taken together,
Taken whole,
Taken apart.

Sinews torn,
Fibres pulled
Ligaments consumed.

They feasted
Him and she, far into the
Gluttonous night.

Arms flailing, limbs pumping
Sweat soaked, the mattress

Smells filled the rafters,
Roaches scuttling.
Dungheap ants, beetles really

Pincers clamped nubbins
Of flesh, Taken and speared
Then spewed, chewed
Masticated and swallowed.

Were His the only tooth markings
Her flesh took the torquemadian
Bite well – iron maiden she was never
