Properly used, condoms can reduce the risks of infection by sexually transmitted diseases.

Use latex condoms and always check the expiration date on the package to make sure they are not old.

Use condoms for vaginal, oral or anal sex. There are larger condoms for those who need them, as well as smaller.

For convenience, use a lubricated condom with a reservoir tip to hold the semen. Non-lubricated may be preferred for oral sex.

Use only water-soluble lubricants.
DO NOT USE OIL OR PETROLEUM JELLY.

Open the package carefully.

Tearing or long or jagged fingernails can damage the condom.

If Uncircumcised (uncut)

Pull the foreskin back, before rolling on the condom.

Hold the tip of the condom to squeeze out any air. This leaves some room for the semen when you ejaculate (cum).

Put the condom on the end of the erect (hard) penis.

Keep holding the tip and unroll the condom onto the erect penis, all the way down to the hair.

The condom is now in place
Enjoy

Smooth to eliminate any air bubbles.

More water-based lubricant may be smeared on if needed.

Do not use any oil-based lubricants with latex condoms (oil, petroleum jelly, body lotions) as these weaken them.

After Sex
Withdraw the penis while it is still erect.

Hold the base of the condom as you gently pull out to keep it from slipping off.

Pull the used condom off the penis.

Hold the used condom so the semen does not spill. Also make sure you don't allow any semen to come into contact with any open cuts or sores.

Wrap the used condom in tissue and dispose of in the trash.

Never reuse a condom.

Wash.

Phimosis

I just happened by and saw the comment about sliding the foreskin back. As the other post said, it should slike back over the glans without pain or problems. If it does not it needs to be seen by a doctor. I don't care for circumcision but the normal foreskin is supposed to be flexible.

Read my article here at Literotica, "Maintenance Manual for Male Private Parts"

Phimosis - if the foreskin will not retract over the head of the penis, it can cause hygiene problems and needs service by a medical doctor.

Paraphimosis - if the foreskin slides behind the head but will not return to its normal position it can cut off circulation to the head and needs to be repaired by a medical doctor.

foreskin

In response to previous comment, yes your foreskin will go all the way back. If it is too tight make sure you use plenty of lubricant whilst stretching it, but the good news is once stretched it stays big enough and will not be uncomfortable at all. Try stretching it when flaccid first. I would say it is actually quite important to do this because you should be cleaning underneath it regularly. You will find another benefit too - the most pleasurable sensation for me is my foreskin sliding over my cockhead.

Certainty

Not being very experienced, thus shy and uncertain, but always willing to learn, I've often wondered about the specifics of the How To's of condoms, but i have to ask for confirmation on the pulling back of the fore-skin. For me and other's who i know who have tried, pulling the foreskin back is quite painful. Are we just meant to grit our teeth and do it, or is there another option?
