It's raining hard in Paris
sixty three degrees
under this sidewalk table
my hands are on your knees,
My eyes watch you eating
your bread and your wine
my high school French fails me
but we've got lots of time ...

Be careful, the phrase "eating...your wine" doesn't sound good. Sure. I understand. But poetry is the art of words.

This poem is already pretty good. Try harder.
