I threw your love away
I shook it off
I left it at the door
Never thinking
There's no one I'd love more.

I ran and I ran
So far away from you
I didn't look back
Didn't think of the pain
I was putting you through.

I blamed you for my pain
My hurt and my loss
I didn't want to give our love
Another chance
I just gave it a toss.

It was you I needed
In my darkest hour
I didn't admit it
Couldn't let your love
Have that kind of power.

Now I dream of your arms
Wrapping me up so tight
Want to be immersed in your love
I desire your love more and more
Each day and each night.
