Amethyst streaks strike forth
as citrine fingers caress
azure shores.
Rose quartz blush tinges
obsidian mountains where
ebon raven soars.
Ruby orb of radiant life
carnelian eye drooping
over granite earth.
Onyx cloak shining
with shattered diamond
sparkles of mirth.

A wonderful little piece

A great little picture you've painted here.

your words

like gemstones

placed and laced

careful on silver strings

reflections skitscattered

moments of memory

pretty precious things

lead bead and rise

to tears concealing

sharp shock shards

the shattered diamond cries

Words Should Mean Something

Regretfully, this is just a collection of disjointed, though "colorful," words.

really interesting use of unusual color vocabulary

melded into an appealing poem! This one should have been illustrated, no?

Lovely images

I like the last phrase "sparkles of mirth" a lot! It leaves a warm feeling.
