Like an onion
Peeling back
Each one
Transparently placed
Acidly laced
that pierces the
Eye
Tears
Staining

Each layer has its own
Story
And
Pain

Conjour up
The memory
Conjour up
The pain
Rip out my heart
Again
And
Again

Bubbling up
Like
A witches
Cauldron
Molten red
    pools
       Of fire
That is never
Quenched

Onion acid
Each one is
Poisoned grief
   Wrestless sleep
The memories
 remain
  in
        layers deep

Really strong emotions!

A nice analogy with the onion.
