You know that old saying?
"When life gives you lemons, make lemonade?"
It doesn't matter what you are given
Just what you've made?

I tried to do just that
To look at the brighter side
But with every happy moment
I was swept up by grief's tide

I had taken every lemon
Refused to become bitter
Tried to make it sweeter
But it was always a trap in which I was lured

Now I don't know what to do
When someone hands me lemonade
I'm so use to the sadness
I feel like I'm being played

I no longer trust the world
I won't let anyone in
So when life gives me lemonade
I'm sure to make a lemon

I can understand

Your feelings, Storm.
