ZackCob of Wells Fargo had an Aunt Hattie,
Who was mean and ornry, and some say "Battie!"
She only weighed a little, but was fit as a fiddle,
She'd chortle as she'd say "I ain't no fatty!"

Barnaby Sky trapped through the western mountains,
Eating wild game and drinking from clear fountains.
He married a Crow woman, who could read all the omens,
When it came to "Cou," she was good at countin'!

The Sacket Clan were really wiley fellers,
And if someone did them dirt, they were Hellers!
It didn't matter which one, they'd all just come on the run,
They figured "Family Support" to be "Stellar!"

The Bains Clan had to leave good old Missouri,
And had a real way of dealing out fury.
If someone wanted to fight, they could dish it out all night,
They'd settle up with them, as judge and jury!

Dusty Fogg's indian name was "Magic Hands,"
And he worked for "Devil Hardin" with his band.
They were all a feisty bunch, and they always packed a lunch,
And they cleaned up trouble, all over the land!

Chic Bowdry toted a badge for the Rangers,
When it came to bad men, he was no stranger!
If they heard Chic was comin', they'd all take off a runnin',
They didn't want to deal with Bowdry's anger!

Hop-a-long rode the range for the Bar-20,
And when he got stirred up, his eyes turned flinty.
He was just plain pure lightnin', when it came to him fightin',
He'd pass out lead death notices a-plenty!

There were a heck of a lot of Western men,
Who weren't afraid to stand up through thick or thin.
They'd side against the wrong, and wouldn't take too long,
These many Western Heroes knew how to win!!
