A crusty old crab went crawling,
With his house behind him hauling.
He was frustrated, felt deflated,
So he stopped right there and bawled!

A nearby clam watching him cry,
Could only look on and say "My!
If I moved like you, there'd be no boo hoo,
To me you positively fly!"

A Starfish heard this silly clam,
And he said to himself "Hot damn!
I wonder if he'll squeal, when I make him my meal,
He'll taste better than country ham!"

The clam got ate by the starfish,
Who served him up for his main dish.
With a burp and a sigh, and a hearty "My my!
For two more of them, I could wish!"

A preacher wading on the beach,
Waded in the water and reached,
Down to that starfish, grabbed it with a swish,
Held it high and began to preach!

The old crusty crab saw all this,
And thought to himself "What a miss!
I'll stop complainingg about, toting my old house about,
And appreciate all this bliss!!
