Click hereThe Lone Star saloon was hosting a crowd,
In the Michigan town of DelRay.
A suburb of Detroit, on the river,
And lots of rowdies were on display!
The Lone Star always served the best burgers,
And the draft beer they served was a treat.
There were people that came from all over,
For all the fun and good booze and good eats!
Then a Texas lad came in one evening,
With his spurs on and a ten gallon hat.
The local yokels thought he looked funny,
And the Texan objected to that!
A rowdy laughed "You must be from Texas,
I can tell by those spurs on your heels."
The Texan knocked him down on hands and knees,
And spurred just to hear the rowdy's squeals!
The rowdies in the bar started fighting,
And they all tried to pile on Texas.
But the Texas boy fought like a cyclone,
And all that were left were two Mexes!
The Texas boy stepped to the bar grinning,
And told the barkeep, "Give us a drink.
I want to thank yall for all this fun,
But you know, some of your rowdies stink!"
"I kind a like the name of your saloon,
Its that name on your sign brought me in.
I'm hopin' you can get in more rowdies,
I'd sure like to stop in here again!!"
