Woodland walks
Amongst ancient oaks
Arm in arm
Ambling up cliffs
The flexing of your calves
as I follow behind
Over moss covered boulders
to gaze emerald pools below
I don’t miss it
Your howled laughter
A shared a joke at some street side café
A golden summer’s day outside a pub
Sipping a half of Bishop’s tipple
Children giggling, a gentle ripple
As they chase geese
Through the garden
I don’t miss you
Lustful longings
Fervid feverish embraces
Bouncing off the walls the bed and you
The exact fit
Of each contour of our bodies
As we merged into one
synchronous sexuality
In time and in tune with each other
Vibrations pitch perfect
I don’t miss them
I don’t miss it
I don’t miss you
God, I miss it all
Beautiful.

Been there.....
and I remember the same simple thing
A wonderful piece
Thank you
i've tasted this bitter pill..
you made it seem so lovely..making me wonder why it ended.
i keep trying to make my way through the poetry, but i'm in the proccess of a move, and a vacation of sorts so just not time now..
when i get settled in florida, there will be more time for reading and voting, i have read a few of yours though..
hang in there with the votes..
eventually it will pay off!
ryn..my daughters very suddenly..very abrubtly matured into a fine young lady..it was sort of intentional..to end it like i did..i suppose i could have written plenty about her growing..changing..but i made my point..well thought i had.
anyhow, thanks for the comment!
