For so long I walked alone,
In the dark of night.
With no one to hold.

A single set of foot prints,
Set in the sand.
Alone in the long walk.

Now the walk,
Is not alone.
Two sets of foot prints,
In the sand.

Not behind,
Not ahead.
Though beside me,
Along this path.

The past so cold,
The future so bright.
With the warmth,
On thy face.

With soft warm words,
That echo.
I love you,
Mon Amour.
