you fade to grey
and like a ghost
you slip into nothingness
where your dust settles now
is up the indiscriminate wind
for I will not dwell in what is lost
as long as I have life
I will be with the living
for the clouds
they cry also
only to spring life from the
barren soil
just a seed need remain
one seed to bloom
and this icy winter
of betrayal will thaw
so I give to you, my lost love
my last tear
