My Tear Streaked face:

As I stood and looked into the mirror
I turned around quickly hoping to glimpse
The person I missed

I thought I saw her image and her smile
But as I turned I realized I was alone
When I turned back to the mirror all I saw
Was me and my tear streaked face

As I walked down the street
I turned quickly hoping to see
The one that I lost
Walking next to me

I thought I felt her hand in mine
Her presence divine
But as I turned and caught a glimpse in the window
I realized it was only me and my tear streaked face

As she saw me down the hall
Wearing the red shirt and smile
I thought for a moment she would come running
To let me know I was missed

But then she turned and walked away
With what I thought may have been a small smile
Leaving me standing once again
With my tear streaked face

As I looked into the mirror
I turned quickly to see
The one that I love
Standing next to me

As I smiled and grabbed for her hand
I saw a smile on her tear streaked face
She had come back to me

As I looked in the mirror I saw the love in her eyes
I turned quickly again
To feel her lips brush
Across my tear stained face

Sadly, I`ve been there.

Even though it has been over 30 years now, I still to this day think of her often, sometimes with a smile and sometimes a tear, but always with love.

I did eventually find another love, and I really hope you did too.

My feelings for her are just as strong, but different.

Peace and love to you.

Wow! ravenmx, _ You're Poetry Is Beautiful.

With your writing you have touched an emotional part of the Gay Kat, few have ever seen.

I have read so much trash here at literotica.com, it would be an absolute shame if you have totally stopped writing.

Definitely 5 stars, I just wish I could give you more!!!

Thank you for sharing your beautiful poetry with us...
