NIGHTMARE
By way of dream
I’ll seem so near,
You’ll cringe from pain
Brought on by fear.
I’ll enter your mind
While you sleep,
And into your soul
I’ll slowly creep.
You’ll begin to cry
A silent scream,
For it’s with evil
That I do team.
Your greatest fears
Will seem so real,
For it’s your sanity
I now wish to steal.
For I am your nightmare
And I return each night,
I’m always with you
Just beyond your sight.
Yes, you can’t escape me
For soon you must sleep,
And when you do
You’re mine to keep…BWL
