Click hereShe's waiting there for you
a beacon in the dark.
A guiding light to shine
and make you feel the spark.
Passion you ignite.
Heated kisses stir her soul.
This could be the place
where she would want to go.
She hesitates and wonders
what this surely means.
Has she been mistaken
in the things that she has seen?
Did the warning come,
or was she to blind to see?
That maybe he was looking
for another fantasy.
She's nervous from the past
and only wishes to glide,
within a lover's arm
that will hold her for all time.
Seaching for an answer,
she presses further on.
Closing the distance
of a friendship that went wrong.
Wanting something more,
they both refused to see,
what lay before the others,
each bound by destiny.
Fear of love's rejection
she slinks back and turns to go.
He reaches out to hold her,
and begs with a no.
She looks up to his features,
with her eyes awash in fear.
Her pulse is beating faster,
the closer he appears.
She dares once again,
to allow him back inside,
or does she run the distance
and cause her heart to hide?
Gasping for the air,
reaching for the answer.
Her mind can not convince herself,
he'll have to be the master.
He'll have to take the move,
and tell her what he wants,
for the pain was deep and sorrow hurt
and now she feels so much.
Will he go the distance,
and take the final stand?
Or will he just continue
to lead her by the hand?
Making her heart wonder,
and breaking her soul each time
she looks upon his message
and the words of song and rhyme.
DC:
Past= hurt? Rejection?
Present= Fear? Uncertainty?
Future=?
Wheels within wheels and so it goes, or does it?
Thank You. Ronnie W.
