Excellent tanka!

I don't really know the form that well so can't comment on that (though it looks right to me), but the poem is just beautiful. Pithy, as it needs to be, but says a lot and with a kind of raw honesty that really is gorgeous. It's so good to read you again. I'd forgotten what a unique, wonderful poet's voice you have. Well not forgot exactly, but you know what I mean.
