Moors gently waving in
the winds,
the sloughing bough,
that verdant 'scape,
Birds are free   butterflies too

living for a day
then crimpling slowly
enfolding All in their embrace.....
from life to Life, heart to heart,
those with hope,
those with ardour,
those with fervour,
Make the world theirs
what they will, will

then the oyster
opens slowly
Look within
Ye, and Take

A delictable offering...

I loved the moors in the winds, the freedom of birds and butterflies and the steadfast oyster. And I love oysters... wrote a how to on how to eat one. You show another view here. very good.

I thought this was going to be an aphrodisiac poem

but it's far more interesting.

Simple but powerful statement

on our transitory nature, our different needs, and love the gentle remonstration to take what you need at the end of the poem. Thank you Razz. :)
